Hi, I'm Cale
📍 Nederland, ColoradoMy name is Cale Ackerman and I've resided in Nederland, Colorado for close to a decade. I enjoy all the activities the mountains have to offer — Mountain Biking, Hiking, Camping, Snowboarding, and Trail Running!
My late pooch, Miller, would accompany me on a lot of these outdoor adventures. He was a great companion for these escapades and was the driving force behind starting Simplified Pet Care.
My immense love for the outdoors coupled with my love for animals got me thinking: how can I merge this admiration for the outdoors and devotion to caring for animals into a living? I began by offering walks and controlled trail-runs for our small community, and it has blossomed into Simplified Pet Care — overnight care, drop-in visits, walks and runs for all varieties of animals including goats, chickens, llamas, small animals, as well as dogs and cats.
I found that there is quite a demand for quality care of our animal companions, and that I was able to fill that need. Since then, I have expanded my business and taken on new clients from Nederland to Gilpin County and Boulder, and I am proud to offer the highest standard of care for our mountain community.
I also work at the local feed store, Nederland Feed and Pet, where you can always pick my brain on pet nutrition and suggestions for products to help enrich your animal's well-being! I look forward to seeing familiar faces as well as new members of the community while I'm out caring for your animals!
